Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Garfield Heights, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations. The role is 100% onsite and involves a variety of accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist in month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and reviewing financial statements.

• Manage expense reporting and processing through the Concur system.

• Utilize Infor Visual ERP software to support accounting operations and data management.

• Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations to ensure proper tracking of financial transactions.

• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial data.

• Provide support for audits by compiling and reviewing necessary financial documents. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.

• Familiarity with Infor Visual ERP and Concur expense management systems.

• Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close processes.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
