Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills to evaluate credit applications, assess financial risks, and support effective decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit analysis and a solid understanding of financial systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses by analyzing financial statements, cash flow, and credit applications.

• Prepare detailed credit reports to support lending decisions and minimize financial risks.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of credit applications.

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize overdue payments.

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis using accounting software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.

• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to resolve credit-related issues and provide recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all credit-related activities.

• Support collection processes by identifying and addressing overdue accounts.

• Recommend credit limits and terms based on thorough research and analysis.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within a banking environment.

• Proficiency in financial tools such as accounting software, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.

• Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis, credit applications, and collection processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Solid communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.

• Familiarity with agricultural credit analysis is a plus.

• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
