    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Audit payroll cycles using the UKG

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

    + Perform reconciliations of payroll reports, including taxes, benefits, and deductions.

    + Support the year-end process, including generation of W-2s, P60s, and other statutory filings.

    + Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll records.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues, working with UKG support as needed.

    + Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.

    + Analyze payroll trends and generate reports for internal stakeholders.

    + Participate in system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes within the UKG platform.

    + Support internal and external audits by providing requested data and documentation.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

    + 3+ years of payroll experience, with at least 1 year of experience using UKG.

    + Strong understanding of payroll principles, statutory deductions, and employment tax regulations.

    + Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) and proficiency in payroll reporting tools.

    + High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
