Description

Our client, a successful and growing law firm, is looking for a dedicated attorney to join their team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a legal expert with experience in complex litigation, particularly within the securities sector, who is eager to contribute to impactful cases. The position offers an opportunity to work on challenging legal matters alongside a talented team.

Role: Associate Attorney

Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience) + great benefits!

Schedule: Hybrid (2 or 3 days in the office)

Responsibilities:

+ Support the development and litigation of securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, and individual cases in both federal and state courts nationwide.

+ Perform in-depth factual investigations and legal analysis of prospective and ongoing securities and derivative claims.

+ Draft key legal documents, including motions for lead plaintiff, consolidated complaints, and briefs related to dispositive motions.

+ Assist in all aspects of the discovery process, including document review, production, and coordination with counsel and clients.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 2-7 years of experience in securities class action and/or derivative litigation.

+ Must be barred in Massachusetts.

+ Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

+ Knowledge of Securities Act of 1933 and Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

+ Exceptional research and writing skills.

+ Solid time management, multitasking, initiative and communications skills

+ A background in economics or finance is preferred but not required.
