    Description

    Investment company located in Mercer County has immediate need for a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager responsibilities will include prepare/review tax workpapers and returns for various individuals, trusts, private equity, and special purposes vehicles. The Tax Manager should have prior experience with partnership and trust accounting, high level understanding of equity and tax allocations for partnerships, preparation of individual and related grantor trust tax projections, and review of schedule K-1s. The Tax Manager should have 5+ years of experience in Mid-market accounting firms, or family office or hedge fund/private equity companies. Salary in the 140-150K range plus bonus.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in tax management and compliance, with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.

    • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and ADP Financial Services.

    • Expertise in preparing and reviewing annual income tax provisions and returns.

    • Familiarity with auditing processes and the ability to collaborate with external auditors.

    • Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance and related tools such as CCH Sales Tax.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively mentor and manage team members.
