Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise in collections to a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Manage collection efforts to recover outstanding balances from commercial clients while maintaining positive business relationships.

• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system.

• Generate detailed financial reports and provide insights on accounts receivable performance to management.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and resolve client inquiries efficiently.

• Utilize accounting software, including SAP, to handle day-to-day AR functions and maintain accurate records.

• Implement effective strategies to improve cash flow and minimize overdue accounts.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing accounts receivable reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance processes within the AR function.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on commercial collections.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus

• Strong understanding of billing, invoicing, and general accounting principles.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

• Proven track record of resolving complex billing and collection issues.

• Familiarity with financial compliance regulations and best practices.
