Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer IV to join our team. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining software solutions that meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Develop High-Quality Software:

+ Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and AWS.

+ Migrate legacy .NET monoliths to Microservice architecture and ensure seamless integration with React frontends, mobile apps, and Electron desktop applications.

Troubleshoot & Debug:

+ Diagnose and resolve issues across the full stack, including backend (.NET), frontend (React), mobile, and desktop (Electron) applications when necessary.

Collaboration:

+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Cloud Engineers, Cybersecurity, and QA professionals.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and produce effective technical solutions.

Security & Resilience:

+ Partner with the Security team to identify necessary steps for improving resilience and mitigating vulnerabilities.

+ Utilize modern DevSecOps tooling such as Wiz, TruffleHog, Dependabot, and Checkmarx to enhance software security.

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing:

+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level developers.

+ Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions to promote learning within the team.

Documentation:

+ Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and application architecture to ensure transparency and reproducibility.

Adherence to Best Practices:

+ Ensure conformity with coding standards, industry best practices, and company policies.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

+ Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

+ Expertise in building cloud-based solutions on AWS.

+ Strong experience navigating microservices architecture.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems across legacy .NET backend, React frontend, mobile, and desktop applications.

+ Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Wiz, TruffleHog, Dependabot, and Checkmarx.

+ Familiarity with scalable and robust architectures using tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.

Experience:

+ 8-9 years of software development experience in relevant technologies.

+ Hands-on experience with migrating legacy systems to modern microservices.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).

Mindset & Soft Skills:

+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

+ Proactive and responsive to feedback with a continuous improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in React, mobile application development, or Electron desktop applications is a plus.

+ Familiarity with data-driven application development, leveraging multiple data sources.
