Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in the real estate or construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced organization where your accounting expertise will play a vital role in supporting operations. Ideal candidates will also have proficiency with Sage Intacct and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Accurately process high volumes of invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions within Sage Intacct.

+ Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

+ Code expenses to the appropriate general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

+ Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing processes.

+ Monitor vendor accounts and ensure timely and accurate payment distribution.

+ Communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to resolve payment issues.

+ Assist in generating accounts payable reports to support decision-making.

+ Stay updated on industry best practices and apply them to streamline AP processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 2+ years of accounts payable experience in the real estate or construction industry is required.

+ Proficiency in Sage Intacct software is required.

+ Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and AP best practices.

+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to handle a high volume of transactions in a deadline-driven environment.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
