Description

We are looking for a skilled Part-Time, Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position offers an opportunity to manage and oversee a variety of financial operations, including payroll processing, accounts management, and reporting. The role requires a balance of analytical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Prepare and process payroll using ADP or similar systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Oversee financial reporting, including expense tracking, cash flow analysis, and annual budget preparation.

• Maintain accurate records using accounting software, including QuickBooks Online.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with team members to support financial audits and compliance requirements.

• Generate detailed financial reports for management review and decision-making purposes.

• Monitor and manage expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Assist with special financial projects as assigned, ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements • Proven experience with accounting functions, including AP, AR, and payroll.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other computerized accounting systems.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP.

• Ability to prepare and manage budgets, as well as conduct cash flow analyses.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Ability to work part-time with flexibility for occasional in-office requirements.
