Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. In this role, you will manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate processing and timely payments. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical skills to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Match, batch, and code invoices for seamless processing and record-keeping.

• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with vendors to address inquiries and maintain strong relationships.

• Execute weekly check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Enter and maintain accurate data in accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and organize financial data.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounts payable operations.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal controls. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

• Problem-solving skills to resolve invoice discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
