Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Cleveland, Tennessee. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a key part in managing weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy in payroll processing, and assisting with employee payroll questions and troubleshooting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your organizational and problem-solving skills will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review employee timesheets and assist with manager approvals.

• Handle weekly check runs and manage direct deposits.

• Assist with troubleshooting employee issues and concerns.

• Assist with payroll transactions, including garnishments, benefits deductions, and reconciliations.

• Enter data into payroll software systems with precision and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll processing.

• Familiarity with payroll software systems.

• Proficiency in managing check runs and direct deposit processes.

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in payroll transactions.

• Strong communication skills, particularly when working with business owners and managers.

• Multi-state payroll process is a benefit.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support colleagues in a small team setting.
