Description

Robert Half is working with a stable, yet growing, manufacturing company who is looking to add an Assistant Plant Controller to their team. In this role, you will contribute to the financial oversight and operational success of their manufacturing facility. Your expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes will play a vital role in driving our business efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage manufacturing cost accounting processes to ensure accurate financial data.

• Lead the month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate with plant and corporate teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company objectives.

• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.

• Assist in streamlining financial operations and implementing best practices.

• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to track performance effectively.

• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar focus.

• Strong background in manufacturing cost accounting with proven experience.

• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting methodologies.

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data to provide actionable insights.

• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to the manufacturing industry.
