Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth transitions of client files and maintaining organized case documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal support, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage client communications effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the transfer of case files and client relationships to a newly appointed attorney.

• Prepare and file motions for changes in legal representation.

• Coordinate client correspondence, including scheduling and preparation for client meetings.

• Review and organize case files to ensure all necessary information is readily available.

• Contact clients to obtain missing documentation prior to scheduled meetings.

• Update and clean up the client database by uploading missing records into the case management system.

• Provide general legal support in areas such as personal injury, family law, or similar fields. Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.

• Familiarity with drafting legal motions and managing legal documentation.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in maintaining and updating database systems.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Experience in personal injury, family law, or related legal fields is preferred.
