    Description

    We are looking for an experienced and visionary Controller to lead and manage the financial operations in Sarasota, Florida. This role is pivotal in shaping financial strategies, optimizing departmental efficiency, and ensuring compliance with economic and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of financial systems, enabling them to drive organizational success.

    Duties

    + Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.

    + Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into business performance.

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP regulations and maintain accurate financial records.

    + Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.

    + Lead the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.

    + Supervise finance team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.

    • Proven expertise in utilizing accounting software system

    • Extensive experience in developing and implementing financial strategies and policies.

    • Solid understanding of internal controls and risk mitigation practices.

    • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
