Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage financial operations at a manufacturing facility in Wichita, Kansas. This position is 100% onsite involves partnering closely with the General Manager to provide strategic financial guidance and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing finance and a commitment to maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the integrity of the income statement and balance sheet to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and promote compliance.

• Collaborate with the General Manager and corporate teams on forecasting and budgeting activities.

• Manage accounts receivable and vendor relationships to optimize cost-effective solutions.

• Provide timely financial reports to support local and corporate initiatives.

• Prepare annual budgets and analyze financial variances to identify areas for improvement.

• Ensure all accounting documents and records are accurate and meet organizational standards.

• Optimize department procedures and resources for maximum efficiency.

• Supervise and train staff to maintain high operational standards.

• Execute additional duties as assigned to support financial and business objectives.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems such as ADP, BlackLine, and Concur.

• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and billing.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective leadership and communication skills to build relationships and guide teams.
