What you'll do :

+ Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment

+ Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received

+ Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects

+ Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment

+ Stock shelves in the warehouse

+ Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area

+ Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements

+ Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices

+ Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items

+ Travel to other markets may be required for delivery/pick up of materials

Who we are looking for:

+ At least 18 years old

+ Authorized to work in the United States for this company

+ Have a valid Class A CDL preferred

+ Minimum of 2 years of DOT Box Truck driving experience

+ Experience within the warehousing/inventory industry (preferred)

+ Forklift experience (preferred)

+ Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner

+ Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner

+ Basic computer and mathematical skills (required)

+ Able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time

+ Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects with variable heights

+ Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies

+ Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

+ Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)

+ Able to maintain a safe work environmentYou are able to work in all weather conditions
