Overview MA Reimbursement Coordinator Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. The MA Coordinator is responsible to the Director of Reimbursement of Lutheran SeniorLife, in assisting residents/participants/family members with completing the Medical Assistance application for MA benefits. This position works independently, requires initiative, discretion, good judgment, good communication skills and good people skills. Travel is required between the facilities. Qualifications for MA Reimbursement Coordinator: High school diploma or equivalent 1 to 2 years related experience. Familiarity with Pennsylvania Medicaid Regulations preferred. Current Pennsylvania Driver’s License and current auto liability insurance. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required (and Microsoft Office). Flexible in scheduling to accommodate necessary overtime.
