Sales Representative-Case Ready

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The JBS Value Added/Case Ready team is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team located in Greeley, CO.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage current and future value added/case ready accounts.

+ Responsible for managing customer order patterns, reporting, product mix, volume potential, pricing, customer claims, accounts receivable, etc.

+ Use product and market knowledge to generate sales.

+ Determine customer needs and match new product and programs to address account goals.

+ Thorough understanding of customer’s entire organizational structure and merchandising strategy.

+ Collaborate with field sales team to develop new accounts.

+ Establish and grow effective relationships beyond purchasing with customers to include marketing, supply chain, QA, and R&D.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2 or more years of previous protein sales experience – value added/case ready experience preferred.

+ BS/BA degree in Animal Science, Business or something similar preferred.

+ Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Detail Oriented.

+ Willing to travel 3-4 times per year

+ Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office.

+ Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

+ As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

+ PaidTime Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

+ 401(k):company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

+ Base salaryrange of$65,000-$80,000;and

+ Incentive Pay:This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
