    Corporate Accounting Manager

     

    Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our JBS Value Added team. This position is located fully onsite at our Corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

    Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate and participate in monthly close process

    + Journal Entries, Accrual Management, Review Financials

    + Monitor AR, claims, and deductions

    + Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations

    + Manage monthly flux reporting to external auditors

    + Manage weekly financial forecasting

    + Monitor weekly billing process

    + Coordinate monthly capital spending vs. budget

    + Coordinate monthly financial presentations

    + Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures

    + Manage annual User Access Reviews

    + Participate in annual budget process

    + Take part in projects such as inventory control and capital spend vs. budget reporting

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred

    + 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

    + Industry experience or manufacturing experience preferred

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel

    + Debit/credit accounting knowledge

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various levels of management

    + Excellent attention to detail; demonstrated ability to review detailed financial statements with a high level of accuracy

    + Ability to juggle competing projects and achieve accurate results, excellent time management skills, and flexibility to meet changing priorities

    + SAP experience preferred

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

    + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

    The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

    + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

    + Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

    + 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

    + Base salary range of $105,000-$120,000;

    + Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
