    The HR Generalist II coordinates and administers a broad range of human resources programs and activities at our Mansfield manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and supervisors to support a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

    Recruitment and Selection:

    Posts job requisitions, reviews applications, and leads the onsite interview and selection process for hourly positions. Partner with hiring managers to support functional and operational leaders to fill open salaried positions.

    Employee Relations and Policy Oversight:

    Respond to questions by managers and team members in an engaging and collaborative manner. Responsible for developing and implementing workplace policies and procedures . Ensure fairness and consistency in policy application.

    Engagement:

    Leads engagement team and partners and coach leaders on their engagement actions plans to help develop a highly engaged, positive work culture. Lead our employee engagement team and oversee routine employee relations activities.

    Onboarding and Training:

    Lead the onboarding of new employees, administer routine local training, coordinate corporate sponsored training, support managers in routine development planning.

    Performance Management:

    Supports plant manager and other leaders to complete performance management and talent management cycle.

    Benefits Administration:

    Responsible for administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation time. Communicating benefits information to employees, assisting with the enrollment of new employees in benefits programs.

    Compliance:

    Responsible for ensuring that the facility follows all applicable state and federal labor laws and regulations. This may involve maintaining employee records and partnering with vendor partners on employee leave programs.

    Reporting and Analytics:

    Con ducts HR reporting and analytics, as needed.

     

    Education: a bachelor’s degree in human relations, business administration, or related field is required. SHRM Certification, preferred.

     

    Experience: minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or production environment.

     

    Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with employees, leadership, and external stakeholders.
