Job Responsibilities:

As an Interaction Designer (IxD) Co-op, you are mentored by the IxD team to research, design, and help implement lift truck interfaces, warehouse management tools, and mobile applications with industry leading user experience. Tasks may include:

+ Researching user needs, product requirements, competitive analysis, and industry trends.

+ Conducting field research of users and products. May include on-site observation, interviews, filming and task analysis.

+ Creating prototypes to design, test, and help develop new experiences.

+ Collaborating with designers and other Crown departments to bring your ideas to life.

+ Creating visual documentation to support software and Design System development.

Qualifications:

+ Be enrolled in an associate or bachelor degree program in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interactive Media or Visual Design

+ Good written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

+ Work samples must exhibit good visual design skills. Include portfolio link with application

+ Reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
