Role: Senior Consultant – Insurance Consulting (Retirement & Annuities)
Purpose:
+ This job profile defines the responsibilities and expectations for the Senior Consultant - Retirement and Annuities Insurance role within Cognizant Consulting. The purpose of this role is to provide strategic advisory and consulting services to clients in the insurance sector, with a specific focus on retirement products and annuities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Commercially represent Cognizant as a key member of the Retirement Consulting Practice.
+ Assess retirement pension clients current state of maturity at different stages of the retirement / pension industry value stream across multiple dimensions including strategy operating model processes technology solutions application architecture data integrations and more.
+ Help retirement pension industry leaders transform their businesses.
+ Work with Cognizant leadership and client leadership to plan value-additive projects.
+ Manage economics across a couple large or several smaller projects.
+ Identify and pursue upsell opportunities with existing clients.
+ Manage RFI RFP responses and other business development opportunities.
+ Translate objectives into defined scope and executable tasks for team members.
+ Coach team members deliver continuous and constructive feedback.
+ Sign off on quality and relevance of retirement pension requirements before they go to client.
+ Identify and lead areas to build practice capabilities and presence.
+ Help to create retirement pension consulting practice case studies white papers and points-of-view through the gathering of industry best practices and self knowledge.
+ Create consulting assets for the retirement pension space that can be reused with multiple clients and prospects.
Essential:
+ 5 years of experience in the retirement / pension industry including but not limited to workplace defined contribution (DC) plans workplace defined benefit (DB) plans annuities supplemental plans such as NQDC COLI pension risk transfer etc.
Desired:
+ Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and support client-facing activities as needed.
+ Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments, ideally with experience in cross-functional or global projects.
Work Authorization
+ Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship **(H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)**
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
The annual salary for this position is between **$165,000 - $64,500** depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
