Set up and perform product testing (Destructive and Non-Destructive) as directed by Quality Manager/Department test lead and as required by product drawings, specifications and production travelers. Safely and reliably operate test equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Able to read product drawings and set up the necessary electrical and environmental test.

+ Understanding of Engineering notation tolerances and application to test equipment setup.

+ Able to document test results

+ Cultivates and promotes a positive work environment.

+ Enforces DCX-CHOL Enterprises policies and safety practices.

+ Participates in training, safety, and quality programs.

+ Ability to handle multiple projects and to meet deadlines is required.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned

Education: High School diploma required

Work Experience: Familiarity with production environment. Familiarity with electrical test equipment. Proficient with MS Office products.

Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of cables and connectors. Familiarity with electronics basics (voltage, current, etc.) and test methodology preferred. Experience with industry ERP software such as INFOR-SyteLine, ORACLE, or SAP. Computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint etc.

Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing / production environment. This role routinely uses electrical testing devices, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax and scanning machines.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands include the following but are not limited to: good mobility, ability to move between the 2 facilities and within the facilities, lift 30lbs.
