Accounts Payable requires candidates to:

+ Scan invoices to the AP Mailbox

+ Review vendor invoices and statements to ensure that all information included are accurate and complete. Request any missing invoices from the vendor.

+ Assist with uploading invoices into Read Soft and then routing with GL coding in Basware for approval.

+ Follow up in Basware ensuring all approvals are obtained.

+ Review the invoice details in Readsoft and Basware, ensure the accuracy and compliance with the invoice.

+ Review employee expense reports for compliance according to company policy and approve expense reports in Concur.

+ Assist with the weekly payment run preparation to include preparing the excel and JDE files, sending emails, matching invoices with checks, adding postage and mailing.

+ Assist with Vendor maintenance to include obtaining the required information, adding new vendors and/or making changes and routing for approval.

+ Confirm with the Corporate Tax Manager if a Sales Tax Exemption applies and request a certificate to provide to the vendor for the reduced tax rate.

+ Assist with Employee Maintenance in JDE and Concur to include adding new employees, updating information and making them inactive.

+ Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data on accounts and code documents in accordance with company procedures and policy associate with JD Edwards.

+ Assist with month-end close process and journal entries.

+ Assist with any other administrative accounts payable tasks as needed.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this Accounts Payable Specialist position:

+ AA degree in Accounting with 2 years of related work experience or BA/BS Degree in Accounting preferred

+ Experience in corporate accounting environment preferred

+ Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)

+ JD Edwards One World or Oracle and Business Objects/Crystal experience desired

+ Must be fluent in English, Spanish or French fluency a plus

The starting pay rate for this Accounts Payable Specialist position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
