THE POSITION
As a Honeywell **IT Manager – Cloud Infrastructure Engineering** is responsible for managing and coordinating the cloud infrastructure team, ensuring effective resource allocation and employee engagement. This role involves developing technology strategies, implementation plans, operational support and performance reporting of the cloud infrastructure and operations in collaboration with IT and business leadership, focusing on building scalable and supportable cloud infrastructure.
You will report directly to the Director of Data Center and Network Infrastructure who is also responsible for global networking and compute strategy and operations globally. This role will work out of our Morris Plains, Charlotte or Houston location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will work with our partner vendors to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud and related IT services in our technology landscape. You will be instrumental in driving the organization's infrastructure technology strategies and projects, aligning them with our business objectives. Your leadership will ultimately enhance our competitive edge and operational efficiency. By mentoring and managing a team of IT professionals, you'll foster growth, development, and innovation within the organization. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the future of technology at Honeywell and maintaining our position as a global technology leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Extensive hands-on experience with building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
+ Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
+ Strong understanding of containerized applications.
+ Solid understanding of standard Internet services and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
+ Strong working experience in an agile environment, preferably scrum.
+ Collaboratively work with customers to expose new technologies and capabilities.
+ Experience with SaaS Back End products.
+ Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, implementing best practices for data protection and system integrity.
+ Experience with integrating Cloud Services into deployments.
+ Solid experience with Cloud Architecture.
+ Passionate about new technologies.
+ Excellent collaborative, team player, relationship skills.

+ Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to manage relationships and optimize the use of their products and services.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor's Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
+ 6 years of relevant work experience in a wide range of IT-related roles with exposure to a variety of technologies and applications.
+ Minimum 2 years of cloud engineering/architecture with cloud service implementation
+ Excellent knowledge of Azure & AWS cloud services.
+ Knowledge of datacenter consolidation and experience in migration to cloud.
+ Experience managing and planning a complex operating budget
+ Ability to travel occasionally – approximately 15%
