Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
As a **Paralegal, S&D IP (Sales and Distribution, Intellectual Property),** you will play a crucial role in assisting the Intellectual Property (IP) team within the Sales and Distribution business unit. You will be accountable for providing legal assistance and administrative support to the IP team, ensuring the efficient management and protection of our intellectual property assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, assisting with patent and trademark filings, managing IP databases, and assisting the IP team in various legal and administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the protection and management of valuable intellectual property.
In this role, you will impact the organization by providing essential legal support to the IP team, ensuring the effective management and protection of Advanced Material's intellectual property assets. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of IP processes will contribute to the overall success and growth of Honeywell.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Conduct legal research and assist with the preparation of legal documents related to IP matters.
+ Assist with patent and trademark filings, including drafting and filing applications.
+ Manage IP databases and maintain accurate records of IP assets.
+ Facilitate the IP team in various legal and administrative tasks, such as document management and correspondence.
+ Work with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for IP-related matters.
+ Stay updated on IP laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide recommendations to the IP team.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Paralegal certification or equivalent qualification.
+ 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in the field of intellectual property.
+ Strong knowledge of IP laws and processes.
+ Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
+ Familiarity with patent laws and intellectual property management.
