Job Title: Operations Maintenance Coordinator
Work Model: 100% onsite (no option for hybrid or remote)
Overview
The paper machine Operations Maintenance Coordinator is the primary contact between the Maintenance Department and the paper machine 1&2 operations. This position is responsible for attending and coordinating all meetings between the Maintenance and PM 1&2 departments. The PM 1&2 Operations Maintenance Coordinator will work directly with the Maintenance Planners and Schedulers to plan and schedule work efficiently at PM 1&2 to minimize downtime and effectively maintain equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
+ Supports Pixelle safety programs and policies
+ Ensures and is accountable for personal compliance with plant and departmental safety rules.
+ Completes all required computer based Pixelle Convergence system training.
+ Attends all required special training sessions.
+ Leads for environmental compliance by following Pixelle Environmental Policy
+ Leads Paper Machine roll maintenance and reliability program
+ Defines schedule and priorities of work notifications/orders
+ Actively participates in daily standard work
+ Facilitate work order selection process for shutdowns
+ Participates as the department representative in the coordination of the annual maintenance outage
+ Actively participates in scheduled maintenance outages, prioritizing work, completing LOTOTO and executing work
+ Provides input and aids in executing OBC routes
Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Must have a working knowledge of fundamental math as it applies to the job. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions, as well as the ability to communicate with other workers in the performance of the job.
+ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, sit and reach with hands and arms.
+ The employee will be required to work in a variety of conditions, control rooms, mill operational and outdoor environments, including heat and humidity.
+ Normal vision or vision corrected to near normal is essential.
