Job Title: Licensing Specialist
Job Description
The Licensing Specialist is responsible for analyzing state and local government laws and applying the necessary requirements for obtaining critical sales and operational licenses in the designated region. This role involves interacting with franchisees and corporate operations personnel to gather information for completing applications and providing updates on licensing activities. Additionally, the Licensing Specialist will liaise with state and local licensing officials to acquire relevant licensing information and maintain a comprehensive licensing database for their assigned region. Providing advice and counsel on the application of various licensing requirements to current and proposed operations is also a key aspect of this position.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze state and local laws to determine licensing requirements for sales and operations.
+ Interact with franchisees and corporate operations personnel to collect information for licensing applications.
+ Provide updates on the status of licensing activities.
+ Communicate with state and local licensing officials to obtain necessary licensing information.
+ Maintain and oversee the licensing database for the assigned region.
+ Advise on the application of licensing requirements to current and proposed operations.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with bank reconciliation, credit card transactions, and expense allocations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
+ Strong accounting, auditing, and compliance skills.
+ Excellent reading and analytical skills.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Associate's degree.
+ Experience in mortgage or licensing.
+ Extensive experience with database software programs.
+ Proven detail orientation and curiosity.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
