Lilly has initiated a multi-year transformation program that will simplify and significantly enhance M&Q operations at Lilly. This is part of a broader set of enterprise-wide programs focused on enabling unprecedented company growth and delivery of new modalities serving patients around the world.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TSMS Digital Architect with strong technical skills and capabilities focused on improving our manufacturing processes, digital process performance, and enabling digital pipeline capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in technology strategies, and developing technical roadmaps and architectures to enable business value and efficiency for the Manufacturing and Quality business groups at Lilly.
Responsibilities:
+ **Business and Tech Partnership:** Collaborate closely with business and tech team stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities. Build strong relationships to ensure alignment between technology architecture, capabilities and business goals.
+ **Tech Strategy:** Define and implement a comprehensive technology platform strategy that supports the organization's vision and objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
+ **Digital Pipeline Capabilities:** Develop and manage technical designs and architectures to help Lilly realize our ambition to enable digital drug development and pipeline execution and monitoring capabilities that enhance manufacturing processes and performance. Ensure the solutions are a technical fit for purpose, scalable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.
+ **Technical Leadership & Oversight:** Oversee and approve technical and cross-functional team design and technical delivery to ensure implementation of high-quality tech products. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster a collaborative, agile and productive work environment.
+ **Efficiency Improvement:** Identify and implement process and technology improvements to enhance operational efficiency for Manufacturing and Quality operations. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement.
+ **Compliance:** Ensure all technology solutions adhere to GMP standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain a strong focus on quality and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
What You Should Bring:
+ Solid understanding of how people go through changes and the change process.
+ Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
+ Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
+ Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
+ Extensive experience leading change, communication and training efforts for multiple global, complex technology implementations.
+ Strong understanding of monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of change management strategies and plans.
+ Proven ability to implement change management methodology and apply it as appropriate for the business environment, adjusting as needed to ensure focus is on execution and impact for the people-side change driven by a transformation initiative.
+ Demonstrated understanding in gaining executive sponsorships, managing stakeholders, defining stakeholder impacts, driving stakeholder awareness, and guiding business engagement (champions /super users / late adopters.)
+ Desire to establish and maintain relationships with all levels across the company and external partners.
+ Experience in health care, pharma, manufacturing or life sciences is a plus.
+ Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor of science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of demonstrated experience supporting Tech systems development at a GMP manufacturing or quality system customers in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Science, Quality or other relevant biopharma areas.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
+ Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
+ Proven experience in a technical product architecture or systems engineering role.
+ Strong background in GMP and regulatory compliance relevant to drug manufacturing and development.
+ Demonstrated ability to define and execute technology strategies in a Cloud and automated environment.
+ Experience with modern digital software development, tools, processes and architectures.
+ Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems experience a plus.
+ Experience with plant automation and digital control or plant and process monitoring systems highly desired.
+ Excellent business acumen and ability to build effective partnerships.
+ Strong leadership and technical leadership skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$123,000 - $180,400
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
