    **Work hours:** Monday-Friday – 1 st Shift

    Anatomic Pathology Department highlights:

    • Frozen Section Assistance

    • Special Stains

    • Immunohistochemistry

    Here’s What You Need

    • Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science required.

    • 5 years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist.

    • 2 years leadership experience preferred.

    • HT(ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) strongly preferred.

    • MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire Or CT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) Upon hire

     

    Other AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology Upon Hire Or HT (ASCP) – is supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology required

    What You Will Do

    • Supervise all aspects of the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory to include the Gross Room, Immunohistochemistry, Frozen Section Rooms, and Specimen Processing

    • Oversees work schedules of Histotechnologists

    • Resolves quality control discrepancies

    • Participates in training of staff

    • Ensures Anatomic Pathology Laboratory complies with the CAP guidelines
