Job Description:
Develop and manage approved department budget and adjust strategies as needed to meet budget expectations
Develop, implement and monitor departmental policies & procedures Monitor compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards
Responsible for human resource functions including productivity, staffing, performance reviews and corrective action
Identify, acquire and maintain department equipment, supplies and resources to maintain adequate function of unit
Incorporate customer needs, satisfaction and expectations into daily operations and business planning strategies
Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care delivery and safety
All other task and duties assigned
Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
Or
Associate's Degree Radiology Required
Bachelor's in Radiology Preferred
Experience
4 Years procedural experience Required
and
3 Years progressive leadership experience Required
IR Experience a Plus
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
Or
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Required
And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support with in 90 Days of hire Required
Skills
Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills; time management skills
