JOB OVERVIEW:

Are you a certified personal care aide (PCA), HHA, CNA or have caregiving experience*? Are you dependable and caring? Then CareGivers is looking for someone just like you!

Job Opening:Personal Care Aide (PCA) – must be certified PCA*, HHA or CNAOffice:Rochester, NY (https://caregivershomecare.com/locations/home-care-in-rochester-ny) Job Location:Pittsford NY (work available in surrounding suburbs as well!)Hourly Rate:$18.10/ hourShifts Available: Day shifts (various shift lengths and start times available)

Must have a reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license– shopping/running errands for clients is part of the job (mileage paid)

*If you have had at least 3 months of previous hands-on caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.

DUTIES: Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. + Must be certified PCA*, HHA or CNA (expired PCA or HHA ok)

+ Will transition current CNA to HHA with a free one-day class

+ Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHA’s – ask us how!

+ If you have had at least 3 months of previous hands-on caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!

+ Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements

+ Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license required

+ Must be 18 or older
