    Full Time: Monday through Friday

     

    Bear Mountain Healthcare West Springfield, a skilled nursing facility in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking a full-time Medical Records.

    The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Creating new medical records and retrieving existing medical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents;

    + Assigning and recording new medical record numbers;

    + Verifying existing medical record numbers;

    + Inputting and recording information into the computer;

    + Delivering medical records;

    + Assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner;

    + Ensure various departments are properly equipped with supplies they require;

    + Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed;

    + Other duties as assigned.

     

    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

     

    Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

     

    Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
