We are looking for someone who is well rounded, possessing strong customer service experience and technical capability. Examples of Duties

Our team primarily supports custom, department-specific applications, along with enterprise-wide systems. We collaborate closely with the desktop, network and hardware support teams for projects and product implementations. Training will be provided for specific technologies, so prior experience is not as important as foundational knowledge and a willingness to learn. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to document and present technical processes to nontechnical audiences is an essential.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Primary Duties Include:

+ Build reports and efficiency dashboards

+ Assist staff with addressing technical issues with Electronic Health Record system and other specialized software

+ Software automation, scripting and workflow development

+ Low-code software development

Key skills and experience:

+ Customer service, business relationship management

+ SQL query development, reporting/dashboards, and database design

+ Data-driven software architecture, UI/UX design

+ Eliciting customer requirements and designing a solution using available tools and technologies

Experience in Microsoft SSMS, SSRS, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Workday, and Accela Land Management are a plus!

Education and Experience Required

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with course work in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field

OR

Two years of course work in computer science, information technology, business or public administration or a related field plustwo years of experience comparable to Nevada County’s classification of Information Systems Analyst Trainee.

Nevada County employees can opt to receive dental and vision insurance without opting for health insurance coverage as well. Retirement

The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
