    Job Title: Customer Service & Returns Specialist (70% Customer Support | 30% Physical Work)

    At Midwest Goods, we are looking for a dynamic Customer Service & Returns Specialist to join our growing team! While the title says "Returns Associate," this role is much more than handling boxes — it is about building relationships, solving issues, and making things right for our customers and vendors.

     

    If you are tech-savvy, organized, and enjoy a mix of customer interaction (70%) and physical work (30%), this job is for you!

     

    • What You’ll Do:

    + Be the go-to person for return-related questions, concerns, and claims from both customers and vendors

    + Process returns, handle damaged items, and manage return-to-sender (RTS) shipments

    + Investigate and resolve shipping errors, product defects, and supplier issues

    + Communicate effectively through emails, calls, and Zoho Desk tickets

    + Coordinate replacement orders, purchase orders, and promotional shipments

    + Use platforms like BigCommerce, Gmail, Shipstation, Zoho, Google Sheets, Excel, and Monday.com

    • What We’re Looking For:

    + 4+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    + Comfortable lifting items up to 60 lbs occasionally (warehouse side of the role)

    + Familiarity with Zoho, Monday.com, Shipstation, and other business software is a plus

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 60 pounds.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

     

    This is a full-time position, 40-45 hours per week. Days and hours to be specified, weekends as needed.

     

    Travel

     

    Travel is not required for this position.

    Required Education and Experience

    A Graduate is highly preferred. A High school diploma or equivalent, Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions. Minimum 4 years of experience preferred in the relevant background.

     

    Work Authorization

     

    Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
