_As a Data Scientist, you'll leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, statistical modeling, and generative AI to develop and implement frameworks as part of the company’s responsible AI function. You’ll collaborate closely with model developers and other partners to ensure our AI-driven solutions comply with regulatory requirements and best practices in responsible AI._

_About the role_

+ _Design and implement metrics and testing methodologies to evaluate AI systems for responsible AI considerations_

+ _Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in responsible AI_

+ _Perform disparate impact analysis on existing and new machine learning models_

+ _Audit existing and new machine learning models for model performance, impact and reliability_

+ _Develop tools for model developers to standardize model development lifecycle_

+ _Write new functions or applications to conduct analyses_

+ _Create and maintain documentation for model governance and regulatory compliance_

+ _Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate governance requirements into technical specifications_

+ _Contribute to the development of company-wide responsible AI guidelines and best practices_

+ _Mentor team members on responsible AI practices and methodologies_

+ _Apply sampling techniques to create representative datasets for model evaluation_

+ _Compare models using statistical performance metrics, such as loss functions or proportion of explained variance_

+ _Create graphs, charts or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis_

+ _Deliver oral or written presentations of the results of model evaluation and data analysis to stakeholders_

+ _Communicate analyses, conclusions and solutions clearly to all audiences_

+ _Develop and evangelize best practices for model development, evaluation and maintenance_

+ _Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources related to Responsible AI practices_

+ _Mentor and train associate data scientists_

_About you_

+ _3 years of experience working with large data sets in one or more of the following environments - Hadoop, AWS, Azure or GCP_

+ _3 years of experience with statistical and data mining tools and methods_

+ _3 years of experience with supervised models (e.g., regression, neural networks) and unsupervised techniques (clustering, PCA, SVMs)_

+ _3 years of experience working with SQL_

+ _3 years of experience working in a UNIX environment_

+ _3 years of experience in at least one scripting language (e.g., BASH)_

+ _3 years of experience in Python and at least one strongly typed language (e.g., C++, Java, etc.)_

+ _3 years of experience with statistical packages_

+ _3 years of experience providing predictive and prescriptive analytics in a business setting_

+ _Experience with model explainability techniques_

+ _Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a related field or equivalent experience_

+ _Advanced understanding of data visualization libraries_

+ _Advanced understanding of statistical methodologies for modeling and business analytics_
