    Job Description

    Manage complex large-scale implementations within the Oracle practice. Manage full life cycle implementations, including resources and budgets for client projects. Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability of information architecture and implement necessary changes. Participate in program leadership, governance and change enablement. Collaborate with practice leadership to create proposals, budgets, and work plans. Ensure proper configuration of applications and oversee interactive unit testing. Lead training classes to prepare end users for deployment. Create and implement training materials and quick reference guides to support user adoption. Ensure proper documentation of business requirements, system design and transformation goals. Provide post-production support and guidance to staff as needed.

    Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent, or combination of education and work experience or certifications deemed to be equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, or a related field. Applicants must possess 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Technology Solutions Manager, Consultant, or alternate related acceptable occupation. Work experience must have included: (1) Leading the design, deployment, and implementation of Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) solutions for various manufacturing business processes; (2) Working with client executives to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical and functional solutions; (3) developing and optimizing future architectures for business models in logistics and manufacturing streamlining; (4) Configuring and customizing Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One manufacturing, distribution, and planning functionality to meet business needs; (5) Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One modules: Manufacturing, Distribution, MRP/DRP Planning, Forecasting, Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement; (6) Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One tools: Orchestrator, E1 Pages, UX One, and EnterpriseOne Configurable Network Computing (CNC); (7) Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One Development Tools: EnterpriseOne (E1) Development, Report Writing, Form Personalization, UDOs (User Defined Objects), and EnterpriseOne Workflow; (8) Integrating JD Edwards with RF Smart and DSI; (9) Database management in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL; (10) Managing the development of proposals and deliverables for large clients. Certification as a Project Management professional or similar project management certification required. Certification as an Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne required. Telecommuting permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic location as the assigned Grant Thornton office location. 20% travel at various unanticipated locations/client sites throughout the U.S.

     

    Compensation for position: $188,000 – $198,000/year
