Description

PURPOSE: Responsible for creating maintaining modifying and managing automated performance testing scripts. S/he must be able to communicate effectively in collaboration with the systems and development teams to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues. The individual will be part of the Performance Testing team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using industry standard testing tools. Executes performance test analyze and evaluate test results generate performance metric reports and provide recommendations. - Assists with analyzing test and operational problems to determine presence and scope of potential code defects. Reports errors through a structured defect tracking process. Communicates weekly with management verbally and via written detail status report regarding potential problems and concerns. - Review and analyze business system requirements and specifications for performance testability. - Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of testing tools. Expand business knowledge of product benefits corporate policies division and department goals and department procedures. - Work with functional Tester and Development counterparts to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming releases and keep up-to data with system changes that impact performance testing. - Assists and coordinates with customers the research analysis and proposed solutions to test discrepancies and test scenarios. Verify satisfaction of internal and external customers request and obtain information to create test data. - Participates in project work group meetings internal/external peer reviews walk through status meetings PI Planning etc. - Participates in system architecture change reviews and assessment of system capacity impacts. Benchmarks system performance. Required Skills: - Bachelor of Science BS in a technical discipline i.e. Computer Science Engineering Applied Science etc. - 5 to 8 years of experience with Tricentis NeoLoad's functionality technology scripting capabilities and features for designing and running load tests including: - Ability to write scripts to automate test cases and integrate NeoLoad into CI/CD pipelines - Experience in migrating test scripts in LoadRunner to NeoLoad - Experience in integrating NeoLoad with Selenium to combine real browser-based testing with protocol-level load testing enabling end-to-end performance validation. - Experience in performance testing concepts and techniques types of system performance tests and their goals - Experience with the following performance testing toolsets: OpenText Performance Center / LoadRunner Datadog - Experience with at least 2 relational database management systems e.g. DB2 Oracle MongoDB - Experience with Jira - Proven proficiency with: SQL and PL/SQL - Strong understanding with system and application monitoring concepts - Strong understanding of Server Network Virtualization and Database concepts. - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC Agile processes quality assurance life cycle and testing methodologies - Experience with defect tracking tools e.g. Jira - Experience with Microsoft Office Tools i.e. Word Excel Outlook - Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English Preferred Skills: - All required skills are must haves - Experience working in the healthcare industry The incumbent is required to immediately disclose any debarment exclusion or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work directly or indirectly on Federal health care programs. Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities deadlines and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $73.57/hr.
