Fiber Technician

We’re hiring Fiber Technicians to support structured cabling projects across the Atlanta area. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and splicing fiber and copper cabling systems.
Responsibilities:
+ Install, splice (mechanical & fusion), and test fiber optic cables (LC, SC, MPO, etc.)
+ Terminate and troubleshoot CAT3/CAT5/CAT6 copper cabling
+ Build telecom closets, racks, patch panels, and grounding systems
+ Use OTDR and Fluke testers for diagnostics and certification
+ Complete documentation (timesheets, work orders, material logs)
Requirements:
+ Experience with fiber and copper cabling systems
+ Ability to read blueprints and follow structured cabling standards
+ Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
+ Able to lift 50–75 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
+ Knowledge of OSP/ISP installations (preferred)
+ Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and labeling practices (preferred)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
