    Prestage Farms is currently seeking a Local Live Haul Driver to join our team. As a Local Live Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting live animals from farms to processing plants in a safe and timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to transport live animals

    + Ensure the humane and safe handling of animals during transportation

    + Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

    + Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

    + Maintain accurate records of transportation activities

    + Communicate and coordinate with farms and processing plants to ensure timely pickups and deliveries

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + Valid Class A CDL

    + At least 21 years old

    + Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

    + Minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience

    + Ability to handle and restrain animals

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills

    + Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism
