    The Department of Physiology and Aging at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL invites applications for a Lecturer in Anatomy. This is a full-time, twelve-month, 1.0 FTE non-tenure track faculty position. We are particularly interested in faculty with teaching expertise in allopathic/osteopathic medical or other health sciences (PA/Dental/PT/OT) education. The selected candidate will contribute to the team-taught instruction of allopathic medical and allied health students in the Human Gross Anatomy courses.

     

    Job duties include laboratory instruction, large and small group lectures/educational activities, curriculum development, supervision of medical students, preparation of cadaveric specimens (prosection and dissection), etc. Additionally, the successful candidate may engage in scholarly activities related to anatomy education.

    Expected Salary:

    $68,000; annually.

    Required Qualifications:

    Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Anatomical Sciences or a related field.

    Preferred:

    Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have significant teaching experience in cadaveric-gross anatomy. Doctoral degree in anatomy or related field (e.g., anthropology, biology, zoology) or by the anticipated start date, but strong ABD candidates will also be considered.
