    Job Details:

    Summary:

    Westchester Medical Center, a member of the WMCHealth Network is currently seeking a Thoracic Nurse Practitioner who will work directly with the Chief of Thoracic Surgery.The NP will be expected to perform comprehensive clinical coordination of direct patient care for the outpatient surgery population and maintain full responsibility for all patients including patients seen at MHRH and the Health Alliance satellite offices. The NP will see all follow-up patients, coordinate diagnostic testing during pre-operative evaluation, maintain the Thoracic patient database and serve as a coordinator for the weekly Thoracic Tumor board. No night or weekend call required.

    Education:

    Graduate from an accredited NP program

    Training/License:

    License and current registration issued by the New York State Education Department as a Nurse Practitioner or eligibility to obtain license.
