    We’re hiring a Vice President of Partnership and Development!

     

    Boqueria is looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial growth and development lead to help expand Boqueria’s footprint through smart, high-impact deals. In this role, you’ll identify, negotiate, and secure at least three new development opportunities and oversee two successful launches each year. You’ll focus on management agreements and licensing deals - where the landlord funds the build-out and we retain brand control and upside. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on deal-making, understands restaurant growth strategy, and is excited to play a critical role in scaling a beloved hospitality brand.

    You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

    + **Deal Sourcing & Networking:** Maintains active broker/owner pipeline; surfaces 10 + live prospects at any time.

    + **Financial & Strategic Analysis:** Builds defendable pro-formas; vets ROI, payback, and risk.

    + **Negotiation & Contract Administration:** Drives LOIs to fully executed agreements; aligns legal language with brand standards.

    + **Project Handover & Oversight:** Creates clear timelines, milestones, and accountability through opening.

    + **Market Intelligence:** Tracks macro trends; adapts site strategy to shifting demand and competitive sets.\

    Responsibilities:

    + Build and manage broker network (JLL, CBRE, TSCG, Unison, etc.).

    + Attend ALIS, IHIF, ACI-NA, and ICSC conferences to source leads.

    + Produce site diligence packages: trade area analysis, brand fit, build-out scope, and 5-year pro-forma.

    + Draft and negotiate LOIs; convert to definitive licensing or management agreements.

    + Secure owner-funded cap-ex and pre-opening fee; protect room-service, catering, and branding rights.

    + Coordinate with legal on compliance and risk mitigation.

    + Establish KPIs and reporting cadence with each owner/operator.

    + Oversee design reviews, pre-opening training, and brand-standards audits.

    + Resolve conflicts and renegotiations post-opening as needed.

    + Deliver detailed opening brief to NRO Director and Ops: timeline, budget, training plan.

    + Coordinate design sign-offs with VP Development & Design to protect look & feel.

    + Track pre-opening budget, ensuring on-time, on-budget launch.

    + Maintain heat-map of target MSAs and hotel pipelines.

    + Benchmark competitor deal structures; update Boqueria’s term-sheet template annually.

    + Present quarterly strategy deck to leadership with go/no-go recommendations.

    Qualifications:

    Required

    + 7 + years closing F&B management, licensing, or franchise deals (hotel or mixed-use focus).

    + Demonstrated track-record: **≥ 5 multi-million-dollar deals** executed in the U.S.

    + Expert in financial modeling (unit-level EBITDA, IRR) and contract negotiation.

    + Deep network of hotel owners/operators (soft brands, independents, REITs) and lifestyle-center developers.

    + Superior communication and relationship-building skills; polished presenter.

    + Willingness to travel 50%+.

    + Bachelor’s degree (Hospitality, Business, Real Estate or related).

    Preferred

    + MBA or hospitality-focused master’s.

    + Prior experience running asset-light growth for a chef-driven or premium-casual brand.
