Job Summary:

The Department of Anesthesiology has physician positions available, with a need for individuals with the

knowledge gained through the minimum of a Medical degree (M.D.), or equivalent, to perform the

duties of attending Anesthesiologist. This position is responsible for acting as attending anesthesiologist with

direct responsibility for patient care. The duties include:

• Administers anesthesia through spinal, intravenous, caudal or local methods.

• Determining when patients are stabilized enough to be moved after an operation.

• Supervising anesthesia providers (residents, fellows, CRNAs, SRNAs)

• Following procedure, anesthesiologist continues to monitor patient’s vitals and may be involved

in management of pain.
