Ball-Chatham School District is seeking amotivated and passionate individualto join our team as aHead Boys Swim Coachfor the2025-2026 season. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' athletic growth and development while being part of a dedicated, supportive school community.

Pay is based upon experience and as established by the Ball-Chatham Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement Salary Schedule B-3 (Athletics).

+ Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and strategies

+ Effective communication with students, parents, and staff

+ Familiarity with IHSA/IESA and BCSD policies

+ Responsible for budget and program resources

Responsibilities:

+ Lead and oversee the swimming program, including student-athletes and coaching staff

+ Develop and implement training plans and game strategies

+ Foster sportsmanship and teamwork

+ Organize daily practices, off-season programs, and team events

+ Maintain equipment, uniforms, and program inventory

+ Collaborate with trainers, administrators, and other coaches

+ Keep team website and social media updated

+ Other duties as assigned
