Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Principal Financial Analyst to join the CATV Program Finance team for the York CAS segment of the Platforms & Services Combat Vehicles business.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as the financial business partner for the CATV Program

+ Assisting the program manager and program teams

+ Develop program baselines

+ Monitor performance, investigating root causes of program performance variances

+ Assist program managers in development of corrective action plans to address and mitigate program variances.

+ Provide financial decision support to key stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of program profit by managing financial requirements and program execution.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 6 years of finance/accounting experience

+ Ability to take initiative and look for opportunities to improve processes, identify/solve problems.

+ Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment

+ Provide analytical data and recommendations for required improvement

+ Knowledge of defense contracting regulatory environment (DFARS and CAS)

+ Ability to work with government regulatory personnel (DCAA and DCMA)

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Experience spanning both financial analysis and accounting

+ Prior experience in project forecasting and analysis within a large defense contractor or manufacturing environment

+ Experience working with cash flow modeling or project cash flow

+ DFARS Estimating System compliance knowledge

+ Hyperion Planning and Excel Smart View add-in experience

+ An affinity for investigating and solving complex financial problems

+ Experience functioning as a Lead Financial Analyst working with various levels of key stakeholders by providing financial guidance and support to senior management, business leaders, and other stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $90373 - $153634

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
