Shipping Coordinator

The position of the shipping coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire shipping process, including managing inbound and outbound packages and mail. Coordinating with carriers, ensuring accurate order fulfilment, generating shipping documents, and monitoring delivery timelines to guarantee timely and efficient product distribution. Processing and the logging of Amazon crew packages, UPS, DHL and FedEx shipment receiving are just some other daily duties.
Essential Functions:
+ Enter / log crew mail packages into the online data base
+ Sorting of all mail deliveries to proper locations / recipients
+ Processing internal mail requests and inquiries
+ Assist with resolving lost & found crew mail packages
+ Perform other job-related functions as assigned
+ Delivering of internal mail
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required with understanding of Data entry, customer service, some warehousing
+ Minimum 1 year related experience, to include data entry.
+ Be able to work with Excel, Word and Outlook. Other programs will be taught like CPS and Oracle.
+ Be able to lift boxes off the ground level
+ Understand basic logistic moves and third-party service providers
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Time management, experience with shipping software, problem solving, detail oriented, customer service, data entry.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds. May need to stand for long periods of time.
Travel: No or little travel.
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery. May be requested to work different shift. May include weekends or later hours when necessary
This position is classified as “in-office.” Because of the nature of the role, employees are required to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida five days each week. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
