    Wayfair’s Business to Business (“B2B”) and Business to Consumer (“B2C”) Sales team is seeking a collaborative analytical-oriented Senior Associate to help drive the Global Sales agenda through effective project ownership and executive business reviews. The role will be a part of the Revenue Operations team that will help craft and execute against OKR strategies across global sales teams.

     

    We seek a motivated Senior Associate who will partner with Sales and internal enablement teams to optimize sales workflows to consistently exceed sales targets and improve customer experience (enabled by process and tooling). The Senior Associate will manage, coach, and partner with a Category Sales Associate on the GRO team, allocating deliverables and collaborating on project execution.

     

    This scope includes proactively partnering with Sales, Analytics, and Category Management teams (Supplier Relationship Managers) to monitor performance, create action plans to improve performance, and execute medium/long-term program and channel-level project initiatives.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Deeply understand both qualitative and quantitative trends in the business through active sales representative engagement and strong knowledge of short/long-term KPI trends

    + Partner with associate to lead weekly B2C/B2B On-Demand Category Sales Business Reviews by analyzing performance metrics and uncovering actionable insights

    + Identify growth opportunities to optimize category strategy and drive revenue

    + Scope and execute medium/long-term projects and initiatives

    + Assist in scoping project initiatives, ensuring project management operational excellence through clear deliverables, resource needs, timelines, and cross-functional involvement

    + Drive execution to Category Sales project deliverables, including hitting stage gate milestones, preparing / delivering updates to senior sales and cross-functional teammates, incorporating feedback

    + Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, assessing and acting on tradeoffs across the business (e.g., across sales programs, tech resources)

    + Provide short-term operational support to improve performance

    + Scope data requests for analytics teams to execute, and interpret results to understand business trends (validating qualitative feedback)

    + Create short-term action plans to address underperformance and/or accelerate positive trends, with clear asks, milestones and deliverables

    + Align and alert partner teams to execute, allocating deliverables/deadlines to the Category Sales associate

    + Communicate progress and resolutions to partner teams and sales team members

    + Manage and coach a Category Sales Associate responsible for executional tasks, ticket intake, low-lift project management, and detailed analytical pulls

    + Coach and develop an associate to enhance their performance and skillset, aligning their growth with strategic category sales initiatives to drive business performance and long-term success

    + Remove roadblocks for an associate while coordinating with cross-functional and complex stakeholders on behalf of the Category Sales team to ensure streamlined communication

    What You’ll Need:

    + 3+ years of experience in sales enablement, project / program management, strategy & operations, consulting, or similar roles supporting Sales, Customer Service, or Marketing teams

    + Ability to understand and empathize with diverse stakeholders across functions, and tailor messaging / communication appropriately to ensure resonance

    + Ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into logical objectives, translating sales needs into discrete, actionable steps for partner teams to execute

    + Ability to create consistent messaging about complex projects, flexing to audience needs but creating cohesion on the objective and guiding principles

    + Passion for working collaboratively across functions to drive operational improvements and projects

    + Ability to manage processes efficiently by scoping logical steps from ideation to project completion

    + Ability to manage and coach an associate to drive performance, while removing roadblocks and coordinating the teams needs with stakeholder leads

    An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

    All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
