The Senior Manager, Bladder and Renal Carcinoma (RCC), Oncology Medical Affairs will report to the Bladder/RCC Team Lead, US Medical Affairs. This individual will provide scientific/medical leadership and support primarily for products approved within the bladder and renal portfolio. In addition, the role will include utilizing general oncology area expertise on projects that span the entire Pfizer Oncology portfolio in partnership with cross-functional medical partners and other teams in Oncology.
Responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Bladder/RCC, Oncology Medical Affairs will include but are not limited to supporting Review Committees, advisory boards, and assisting in the evaluation and support of investigator-sponsored research and real-world data studies. This individual will represent US Medical Affairs as needed on behalf and/or under the direction/guidance of the US medical asset leads for bladder/RCC, serving as a therapeutic area expert in scientific, strategic, and tactical discussions and presentations with internal colleagues as well as external experts and investigators.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as therapeutic area expert in various Review Committee teams
+ Assist asset medical lead by providing critical scientific/clinical pre-review, including fact-checking and contextual accuracy, of content submitted for brand or medical review committee
Assist with scientific searches, data summaries, internal training presentations as a strategic scientific/therapeutic area expert
+ Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in the designated therapeutic area by continuously reviewing literature in the field, monitoring competitor activities, and attending relevant congresses
+ Assist medical leads with therapeutic area/asset data gap analyses
+ Collaborate and ensure communication alignment among cross-functional US medical partners (field medical, medical information, and content and education)
+ Provide high-quality scientific/clinical input and review of educational training materials, educational grant requests, and publications as needed
+ Assist and lead, as needed, all internal training (field medical, sales, etc)
Assist US Medical Affairs Bladder/RCC Asset Leads in the development and execution of strategies and tactics
+ Support the development and review of content for headquarters-led advisory boards, as well as advisor identification and engagement
+ Provide scientifically critical review and management of proposed and ongoing investigator-sponsored research studies
+ Assist US medical lead in partnership with team to analyze and publish real-world data studies as needed

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,100.00 to $225,100.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $121,600.00 to $202,600.00.
