Project Description:
DRT provides GIS solutions to address diverse, complex, and emerging problems in collaboration with our federal government customers. Our support includes the design, development, and enhancements of internal and external applications, websites, and database solutions with geospatial components. Our team develops innovative data capture and analysis techniques in the field to enhance emergency response efforts all around the world.
Job Summary:
The GIS Program Manager drives the application of GIS technologies to meet the environmental health and engineering needs across multiple sites. The Program Manager collaborates to understand the problems to be solved and develops efficient approaches using GIS technologies. Working with GIS analysts, project coordinators, engineers, developers, and technologists, the Program Managers ensures users have access to the tools they need to perform geospatial analyses. The Program Manager oversees the completion of enterprise enhancements. Based on analysis and research, the Program Manager develops recommendations for future enhancements. The Manager coordinates and supports GIS analysts, ensuring the efficient and successful completion of geospatial analyses.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversees the ArcGIS Enterprise administrator group to provide support the users and troubleshoot issues
+ Develops a roadmap for future ArcGIS Enterprise enhancements
+ Applies GIS approaches to projects focused on healthcare facilities design and construction, water and wastewater utility design and construction, environmental health services including, but not limited to, disease outbreak and public health incident tracking
+ Coordinates with Esri and information technology services to update and upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise
+ Establishes and implements best practices for publishing and consuming ArcGIS Enterprise services
+ Coordinates with leadership to establish priorities for ArcGIS Enterprise
+ Increases the efficiency of existing workflows and developing and/or enhancing tools for geospatial data collection and analyses
+ Presents and demonstrates technical concepts and applications to non-GIS project partners
+ Prepares, manages, and manipulates MS SQL Server data and databases using T-SQL
+ Convert information into GIS data
+ Automates analysis and reporting tasks using scripting languages such as Arcade/Python/JavaScript to support field operations
+ Uses mobile tools such as Survey123 to gather, integrate and analyze data
+ Produces static and interactive cartographic products to communicate complex concepts to audiences of all types
+ Develops project documentation in accordance with customer guidelines
Require Experience:
+ Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust with the US federal government
+ Over seven years’ experience with geospatial science and GIS technology, ArcGIS suite of software, GIS data and GIS data sources
+ At least five years’ experience with the ArcGIS suite of software including AGOL, GIS data, and GIS data sources
+ At least three years' experience with AutoCAD, Survey 123, Field Maps, Dashboards, and Experience Builder
+ At least three years' experience managing GIS projects
+ Experience with leading work and collaborating across interdisciplinary teams
+ Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts, such as spatial analysis, map projections, etc.
+ Excellent data management skills
Preferred Experience:
+ Recent experience with public works or civil engineering projects
Education & Training:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in GIS or related field; Master’s preferred
Salary Range:
+ $90,000-$120,000
+ Salary commensurate with experience.
